1. Overview of Luminora

Luminora provides daily quotes, inspirational content, and Seek Illuminations powered by randomly generated I Ching hexagrams paired with curated quotations. The app is intended for personal reflection and wellness support. Luminora is not a medical, psychological, or crisis-response service and should not replace advice from licensed professionals.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. If you are between 13 and 18, you may only use the Services with permission of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Relationship to Apple's Standard EULA

• Apps distributed through the Apple App Store are licensed, not sold. Your use of Luminora is subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Standard EULA"). These Terms supplement the Standard EULA. If any conflict arises between these Terms and the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA controls for matters covered by it.
• The Standard EULA sets the scope of your license (single user, Apple-branded devices only), prohibits redistribution, transfer, reverse engineering, and network sharing, and requires you to remove the app before selling your device.
• The Standard EULA also explains data usage, termination rights, external services, warranty disclaimers, liability limits (including the USD $50 cap), export restrictions, and rights for U.S. Government end users. Those provisions apply to your use of Luminora.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the Standard EULA and may enforce it against you.

4. Luminora Premium Subscription

• Premium is offered as an auto-renewing subscription available through the Apple App Store.
• Monthly and Yearly plans are available. Pricing displayed in the app reflects your local currency and may vary by region. Taxes and fees are determined by Apple.
• Subscriptions begin with a 7-day free trial unless otherwise stated. You will not be charged until the trial ends.
• At the end of the trial, your selected plan renews automatically and the applicable fee will be charged to your Apple ID account unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial or current billing period.
• Renewal occurs within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your device.
• If you cancel during the trial, access to Premium features ends immediately after cancellation and you will not be charged.
• If you cancel after the trial, Premium access continues until the end of the paid period and will not renew.
• We do not offer refunds for partially used periods except as required by law or Apple's refund policies.

Premium unlocks unlimited Seek questions, the full quotes library, premium artwork, advanced widget themes, and other features described in-app. We may add, change, or remove Premium features; any material reductions will be communicated in advance.

5. License & Acceptable Use

• Luminora grants you a personal, revocable, non-transferable, limited license to access the Services for lawful personal use, subject to the Standard EULA and these Terms.
• You may not copy, decompile, reverse engineer, attempt to derive source code, create derivative works, or otherwise tamper with the Services except where permitted by the Standard EULA.
• You agree not to misuse the Services, including by attempting to interfere with security, scraping content, using automated scripts, or using the Services to harass, defame, infringe rights, or violate law.
• You are responsible for your account credentials and must promptly notify us of any unauthorized use.

6. User Content

• You may submit questions, reflections, or other content through the Seek features. You retain ownership of your content but grant Luminora a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, adapt, and share anonymized versions to operate the Services (including the Seek Browser feed and community collections).
• Do not upload content that is illegal, discriminatory, violent, sexually explicit, or that violates another person's privacy or intellectual property.
• We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, the Standard EULA, or create risk for the community.

7. External Services & Third-Party Content

The Services may link to or rely on external providers (including Apple, Firebase, RevenueCat, and community-submitted content). Your use of those services is governed by their terms. We are not responsible for third-party information or availability. Access may vary by language or region and can be changed, suspended, or removed at any time.

8. Consent to Use of Data

We collect technical data about your device, system, app version, and peripherals to facilitate updates, product support, analytics, and feature improvements, consistent with the Standard EULA and our Privacy Policy. We do not collect your birth date or gender. You can adjust permissions (such as notifications or location) in iOS Settings at any time.

9. Wellness & Safety Notice

• Luminora offers inspirational and reflective content only. It is not a substitute for medical care, psychotherapy, or crisis intervention.
• If you are experiencing an emergency or mental health crisis, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional immediately.

10. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Luminora Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you consent to the practices outlined there and acknowledge that Apple may also process data under its own policies.

11. Intellectual Property

All content in the Services, including text, artwork, trademarks, logos, and software, is owned by Luminora or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

12. Modifications to the Services or Terms

We may update these Terms or modify the Services to improve functionality, comply with law, or add new features. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app, website, or email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, the Standard EULA, misuse the Services, or engage in fraudulent or harmful behavior. You may terminate your use at any time by deleting the app and cancelling any active subscription. Apple or Luminora may also terminate the license under the Standard EULA. Sections intended to survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations, export compliance, and dispute resolution) remain in effect.

14. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Luminora disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, quiet enjoyment, accuracy, and non-infringement. Luminora is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Where the Standard EULA applies, the total liability of Luminora, Apple, and their respective licensors shall not exceed fifty U.S. dollars (USD $50) or the amount mandated by applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusions or limitations; in those cases your statutory rights remain in force.

15. Export Compliance

You may not use or otherwise export or re-export the Services except as authorized by United States law, Singapore law, and the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Services were obtained. In particular, you represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government prohibited list. You agree not to use the Services for purposes prohibited by U.S. or Singapore law, including the development of nuclear, missile, or chemical or biological weapons.

16. Government End Users

The Services and related documentation are "Commercial Computer Software" and "Commercial Computer Software Documentation" provided with only those rights granted to all other end users under these Terms and the Standard EULA. Unpublished rights are reserved under U.S. copyright laws.

17. Third-Party Beneficiaries

Apple Inc. and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the Standard EULA and, to the extent applicable, these Terms. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple (and its subsidiaries) may enforce the Standard EULA and relevant portions of these Terms against you.

18. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Except where the Standard EULA specifies otherwise for your jurisdiction or relationship with Apple, these Terms and any non-App Store disputes or claims between you and Aprobee Technology Pte. Ltd. are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore for such disputes. Mandatory consumer protections in your home jurisdiction still apply.
