By accessing or using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Services.
1. Information We Collect
We only collect the information needed to operate the Services, deliver personalized content, maintain your subscription, and keep the experience secure.
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account details: Display name, preferred language, and an email address if you choose to sign in or contact us. We do not require birth date, birth time, gender, or other demographic data.
- Questions & reflections: Prompts you submit in the Seek: Ask flow, the Illuminations you save or share, and the categories you follow. These inputs help us surface relevant quotes and improve future guidance.
- Support messages: Information you include when contacting our team for assistance.
1.2 Optional Location
You can choose to share coarse location data (e.g., city, time zone) to fine-tune notification timing. Location access is disabled by default and can be managed in iOS Settings at any time. We do not collect continuous GPS tracking.
1.3 Automatically Collected Information
- Device data: Device model, operating system version, language, app version, crash logs, and diagnostic data.
- Usage data: Screens viewed, feature interactions (such as opening the Seek browser), notification preferences, and subscription status. We use Firebase and RevenueCat to process this information.
- Transaction context: Apple provides us confirmation of your subscription status and the products purchased. We do not receive full payment card details.
2. How We Use Information
We process information to:
- Deliver daily quotes, Illuminations, and personalized content.
- Manage content libraries, saved items, and community browsing feeds.
- Administer Premium subscriptions, free trials, and purchase history.
- Monitor performance, fix bugs, and improve accessibility and design.
- Communicate about updates, feature releases, offers, or policy changes (you may opt out of non-essential messages).
- Enforce our Terms & Conditions and protect against abuse, fraud, or threats to the Service.
3. Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers that assist with hosting, analytics, notifications, authentication, and subscriptions (including Firebase, Vercel, RevenueCat, and Apple). Each provider processes data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal authorities if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety and rights of users or the public.
- Business transfers in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We will notify you before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you may be shared for research, product insights, or marketing.
4. Data Retention
We retain information as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements. Some records (e.g., purchase history) may be retained if required by law or for legitimate business interests.

Luminora is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.
7. International Users
Our servers may be located outside your jurisdiction. By using the Services, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries that may have different data protection laws than your home jurisdiction. We take steps to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection.
8. Your Choices & Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export your personal information. You can also:
- Manage notifications in both the app settings and your device settings.
- Withdraw location access from iOS Settings > Privacy > Location Services.
- Opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us.
- Request account deletion via support@luminora.app. We will verify your identity before fulfilling requests.
We will respond to verified requests within the timeframe required by applicable law.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our practices or applicable laws. The updated version will be posted in-app and on our website with a revised effective date. Material changes will be highlighted or communicated directly when required.
